The Alpine*Snow*Workshop was organized by the Section Geography of the Faculty of Geosciences, University of Munich, in cooperation with the National Park administration Berchtesgaden (Germany). The aim of the meeting was to bring together the snow research community for the exchange of ideas, experiences and visions. Both oral and poster contributions were presented. Meeting language was English.
